Gettin Big

Kody had his first shots on dec26th. He weighed in at 12lbs 3oz. He's getting big and is"gooing" and smiling alot. We had a good Christmas a dinner dec23rd w/ my mom's side of the family, Christmas eve w/ Jake's mom's side, and Christmas day w/ my mom and her fiance's family. We also had dinner w/ Jake's mom and dad on Christmas. For Christmas I got a digital frame that I LOVE. It gives me a reason to take lots of pics and not feel like I need to scrapbook ALL of them. Hope all is well.

Here are some of the newborn pics we had taken of Kody last week. They turned out so good I love them. He's such a cute boy. He slept throught almost all of the one hour session. There is one photo of him with his eyes open!! Merry Christmas to everyone.

7weeks

WOW time goes by fast. I'm a blogging slacker. Here's some new pics. Sorry about the obscene gesture from Kody but I thought it was so funny. I swear it wasn't staged but I guess we know what he thinks about picture taking. I was just snapping pics of him and when I looked back at them I realized he was flipping me off. It was sooo funny. It was fun to finally get the three babies together. Carter is on the left, Brooke in the middle, and Kody on the right. Us moms are all cousins and cute babies must run in the family. We also had some pics taken of Kody today. You'll be able to get a sneak peak at them I think by the weekend at katieportraits.blogspot.com. Also for the Payton lovers she is also on there and here pics are adorable. Hope all is well.

Thanksgiving, Kody 4 weeks

I apologize for not commenting people back. My internet is sooooo slow lately it takes all it's got to even post. Well we had a good Turkey day and found that Kody is a good little traveler. He slept most of the way. We stopped twice but it did throw off his schedule. He was awake every night for most of the night. now that we're home we can get him back into his routine and he's doing better. I am however lucky enough that I got the baby that stays up for 12 of the 24 hrs. I am starting to feel like I might recover and am getting the rest I need thanks to my wonderful husband. Here are some pics from Thanksgiving. We bought a bed for kody to sleep in by us. It's great and Kody LOVES it. He also loves his pacifier that takes up half his face. He's now 41/2 weeks and weighs in at a wopping 9lbs 3oz. Hope all is well. Love everyone!!!!

WE LOVE BABIES

today we went to see the Coderre's before they head to Boise and we head to Mesquite for Turkey day. Brooke and Kody were so cute together. kody was sleeping at first and Brooke was looking at him and seemed to say "what is he doing here i'm the baby around here" then she started to cry and he started to cry and it was so cute to watch them........cry. I posted the pics and they have matching blankets from Paula and Crystal one in PINK and one in BLUE. There's also one pic where they are holding hands. It was so adorable. Candice and I had fun talking and watching the babies. Hope everyone has a good TURKEY day.

okay i'm really mad because I had a post almost all done typed and pics added and I lost it some how.

I'm currently still recovering from my c-section. It seems like its never going to end. They told me 6wks and it's been 3wks. That's depressing. But Kody makes it worth it. I love to sit and watch him. He does the funniest things. He has lots of facial expressions, even when he's sleeping. He also has his legs pulled up on his tummy most of the time, I'm guessing because he was so crammed inside the womb. He also has his hands up by his face and is always moving them around. Right now I really have to be careful where I put him because he is already trying to roll over. He's now 3wks old and weighs 7lbs 2 oz. He loves his swing, baths, and grandma (nam ma as my mom likes to be called) holding him. I love the pic with Jake and Kody sleeping. I see so much of Jake in him.

Jake has been awesome I LOVE HIM!!! He is so busy with basketball practices before and after school, and school of course, but he still finds time to help me out. Hope everything is good with everyone and keep me POSTED!!!!

2wk Check Appts

We went in for our two week appointments today. Mine went well. I saw the P.A. (Serena) and had some questions for Dr. Huggins but that will have to wait 4 wks (Dec 6th) for my next appt. Serena said my incision is healing well. I'm starting to feel better but I'm still REALLY sore. Coughing Laughing moving everything hurts. I hope to recover fast the next few weeks so that I can spend some time with Kody and Jake and work on getting my body back before I have to go back to the dental office.

Kody's appt today was hard. He went in for his circumcision and it's so sad to see him upset. He's such an even tempered good baby and doesn't cry very often. Next appt he gets his first shots.

As you can see I took some more pics. My favorite is the one in the bassinet. He likes to grab onto the bar while he's sleeping. He's now 2 wks old and he's already changed sooo much. He now weighs 6lbs 61/2 oz. He's gained a full pound since we left the hospital!!! HE EATS WELL!!

Hope all is well with everyone else. Wish we could help each other out with all the new babies. Congrats to Brooke and the Coderre family and Carter and the Horsley family!!!!!!! It will be fun getting the babies together that are no more than 8 days apart. LOL!!!

Kody Lee Landon

We welcomed our newest additon to the family on 10-26-07 at 12:17 via c-section. He was almost 4 wks early but we are happy to report that he is healthy. He was 6 lbs 1oz 19 1/4 inches. Jake is a proud daddy and I a paranoid new mom. ENJOY the pics.

football and ready to POP

Okay Crystal I know you've been dying to see this so here's my FAT pic. It's not tooo bad it's pretty much all belly. i've been having alot of pains and i keep forgetting to ask doc what happens if I go into labor before the c-section. I'm hoping not. I have an appt on Tuesday I'll let everyone know how that goes.

Well i'm posting so late because I just got back from the state playoffs football game and i'm waiting for Jake to get home. They lost but they had a good season and Jake was still pretty happy with what they had accomplished. Now football is over for this year and here comes basketball season. Jake has basketball tryouts for JV boys basketball the week after the c-section so we'll see how that goes.

BABY BOY LANDON

Well Doc said baby boy Landon is still breech so there is a C-section scheduled on November 9th. The C-section will be at approx 11 am I have to be there at 8:30 so they can get everything ready for surgery. I'm starting to get nervous but I have FAITH that everything will go well. I heard that the recovery is the hardest so it's a good thing I had some practice already with having my gallbladder out so I know some of the things to expect. Jake will just have to take some extra time off to help US out. I'm so excited to have him here soon.........which means we have to find a name in the next two weeks.

I'm looking forward to seeing the Coderre's family's little Brooke SOON and hopefully it is SOOOOOOOONNNNN!!! Hope everything is good with everyone else.

UPDATE

i don't have to work today so i've just been cleaning house and relaxing. I have a Dr's appt tomorrow late afternoon. I'll let all of you know how that goes. Last week we found out the baby boy....still no name.....hasn't turned yet. Doc said she'll give him a week or two and if he doesn't turn we will schedule a C section. Meanwhile i've been having some really bad contractions but they probably aren't doing anything but hurting where he hasn't turned. Either way i'm glad i've made it to the 36 week mark and c section or not i'm hoping for a healthy baby. It really is funner to post pics with the blogs so i will have to take some soon.

As for Jake he is still busy teaching and coaching. The football team is doing well. They have STATE playoffs this week in Pocatello. They play at 8pm on Thursday. The tournament is single elimination so we hope they WIN!!!!!! Jake was kinda bummed last night because his fav baseball team, the indians, missed there chance to go to the World Series. But GO ROCKIES!!!!!! We now have his pickup for sale and when it sells he'll drive his orange one. I told him that when Boise plays he'll have to put the flags on the windows and drive around. Well hope all is well. AND WELCOME MEINE FAMILY!!!!!!

Here's the pickup Jake has been working on. It's pretty much done we just need to get tires and rims for it. It's very ORANGE Jake's favorite color. He's worked really hard on it and it will be fun to cruise around in. We'll be selling his other pickup and getting a different vehicle in the Spring.

I haven't been up to much so far this week. Just working and trying to take care of myself and the baby. It's been hard to keep my energy level up and I've cut back on my hours at work where I can. So far we have no plans for the weekend and I think it's best I stay home and rest and get some final things ready for baby Mason? Grady? No name still. Jake has been busy teaching school, coaching football, and finishing up his ORANGE pickup I will have to take some pics and post them sometime. have a good week :)

well I think I figured out how to run this blog thing. We'll see how it works. As far as what we have been doing the past few weeks, you can see from the pics that we made it to a BSU game. It was alot of fun and I think it's Jake and I's last hoorah before the baby comes. We're really excited and it's getting so close. we had some 3d ultrasound pics done and it was fun to see the "no name" baby boy again. well i'll try to keep up on the blog now that i know how it works.
