14 lbs 5 oz BSU fan

Well as you can tell from all of my posts, our lives now revolve around Kody. I thought I would try to let you know what Jake and I have been doing. Jake has been busy teaching math and coaching JV boys basketball. His team is doing pretty good , they are improving. There record is 4-5. I haven't been able to attend many games but I hope to be more involved with what's going on when Kody gets a little bigger. Jake will be teaching Ag at Ririe starting in August because the Ag teacher will be retiring. He's really excited as am I because he has a Woods class that can make me shelves and stuff.....LOL!!! I have returned to work two days a week. It's been hard to leave Kody but I leave him in good hands.....with "Aunt Ally" and it's nice to get out a little and be able to get some errands done. I think i've finally made the adjustment of being mom and am hoping to be able to have a least one more kid in the future if my health and plumbing permit. On my days off I've just been cleaning house, a little scrapbooking, and trying to make Kody smart for our retirement program....LOL!! Kody is just busy getting fatter, I can't believe how fast he is growing and gaining. Our little 4 week early preemie of 6lbs 1oz is now 14lbs 5oz. Many of you ask how we weigh him. We borrowed a scale from Jake's parents that does pounds and ounces. It's been exactly on so far, compared to the pediatrican's scale. Hope all is well.

KODY gooing

I'm going to try something new. Since Kody has been gooing and talking I have video clips on my cell phone and I'll try to add them to my blog. We'll see if it works. He's now almost 11wks and he wighs 13lbs 10oz he loves baby einstein and likes to "goo".

Back to WORK

Well My goal is to blog once a week so we'll see how I do. This week I had to go back to work on Wednesday. I'm only working 2 days a week so it's not too bad. I miss Kody and think of him all day but it nice to get out of the house and have adult conversations. Alex, Jake's sister, is watching Kody while I'm at work. It's very nice because she just comes to our house so I don't have to get Kody up and get him ready. Here are some recent pics of Kody in his towel, snow suit, and an outfit(he hates the hat). Gettin Big

Kody had his first shots on dec26th. He weighed in at 12lbs 3oz. He's getting big and is"gooing" and smiling alot. We had a good Christmas a dinner dec23rd w/ my mom's side of the family, Christmas eve w/ Jake's mom's side, and Christmas day w/ my mom and her fiance's family. We also had dinner w/ Jake's mom and dad on Christmas. For Christmas I got a digital frame that I LOVE. It gives me a reason to take lots of pics and not feel like I need to scrapbook ALL of them. Hope all is well.

CUTE Kody pics

Here are some of the newborn pics we had taken of Kody last week. They turned out so good I love them. He's such a cute boy. He slept throught almost all of the one hour session. There is one photo of him with his eyes open!! Merry Christmas to everyone.

7weeks

WOW time goes by fast. I'm a blogging slacker. Here's some new pics. Sorry about the obscene gesture from Kody but I thought it was so funny. I swear it wasn't staged but I guess we know what he thinks about picture taking. I was just snapping pics of him and when I looked back at them I realized he was flipping me off. It was sooo funny. It was fun to finally get the three babies together. Carter is on the left, Brooke in the middle, and Kody on the right. Us moms are all cousins and cute babies must run in the family. We also had some pics taken of Kody today. You'll be able to get a sneak peak at them I think by the weekend at katieportraits.blogspot.com. Also for the Payton lovers she is also on there and here pics are adorable. Hope all is well.
