Catch up from the slacker AGAIN!

Well first of all I'm sorry but these pics are all out of order so I'll try to explain as they go. The kid car above is one that Kevin & Shelley bought for the grand kids. We love it. This one is unique because not only can they drive it but it can be driven by an adult via remote control. SWEET huh.

Kody loves getting in the "bubbles" as he calls it.

This is my mom's boyfriend Jerry at the Mesquite track. Not too bad for an old timer.

Finally some California pics from over a month ago. Alex pushing Kody at the living dessert zoo in Palm Springs.

Alex piggy backing Kody. I have more pics from the zoo but they are gone off Alex's card so I would have to scan them. Kody really loved the giraffes. We got to see them eating. They also have a really cool train set that's in the guiness book of world records.

Date and banana shakes are a MUST HAVE when we go to Palm Springs. Kody's first and he sucked it down pretty fast.

He looks like a mini mafia member. This was at the date shake place Hadley's.

There' s a "Swap meet" two nights a week. The weather was beautiful almost the entire time we were there.

We also went to a car show. This was my favorite. A top of the line volks wagon complete with camper :)

I was REALLY trying to catch him as you can tell from the angle I snapped the pic and attempted to rescue. It was a result of the pic below.

We took advantage of the nice weather to go for walks. Most of the time I was lucky enought to sleep in and grandma Shelley took a stroll with him.

For some reason he always ate with his foot on the table.

Ales introduced us to these waters. They are usually found in sushi place. They have a glass marble in them that you have to punch down to drink it. They can probably be found around here.

Another car from the car show. It looks like it should be on a run way. It's all electric and has built in solar panels.

Lamborgini and Orange ......SWeet. Cool custom leather seats too.

Kody and ma ma going into the car show.

Kody loves to drive and it's not very often he gets to destroy "pa pa's" pickup.

Kody and grandma walkin back to the condo from the laundry.

Woh put on your shades this kid is a true white Idaho boy.

Kody at the dr office before Cali to check his ears. He loves the fire truck and ALWAYS remembers that there are stairs to climb.

We did LOTS of swimming while in Cali. This boat was AWESOME it has a shade to keep him from frying.

We had a great time in Cali. Since then I've gone to the scrapbook expo. Cassie, Candice, and I went. We found some good deals and relaxed on our girls weekend. We missed you Crystal!!!!
I also left Kody for the first time over night. It helped that I had Jake to make sure he was ok. But i did alot better than I thought I would.
We also recently had a spring break. We went to mesquite and took Mikey and Alex. We drove to the hoover dam and stopped in Vegas to show my bro a few things. The weather was gorgeous and it was about seventy-five. When we got home we headed the opposite direction to the snow. We spent the weekend at one of the football coaches, Jeff Johnson, family's cabin. The football coaches and their families went for the weekend. We had a great time and I wish I would've taken some pictures. Maybe try the Smith's blog :) She has a good one of Carter after he knocked his loose tooth out sledding.
I've also started our garden in the greenhouse. I'll have to post some pics of it. It's CRAZY everything is so out of control. I wasn't expecting everything to germinate and grow so fast.
Hope all is well and I'll try to keep updated.

Well unfotunately Jake's team didn't do as well against North Fremont. They lost and did NOT play well. But Jake has a young team they are only losing two seniors....so next year!!! We're in Cali right now so I'll post pics when we get home. It's eighty degrees and beautiful!!! I heard it's it was ten degrees at home this morning. SORRY had to rub it in. So far this trip is MUCH better I'll update when I get home.

BASKETBALL!!!

Sorry no photos this time the game was WAY too intense for photos. I can't handle close games like this one. Ririe played West Jeff today at one and WON!!! VERY INTENSE GAME!!! It was close the entire game. Ririe was down by five with about two minutes left. It was tied at forty four with 8 secs left and we had the ball. We went the full length of the court and won it with a three pointer!! Jake did an AWESOME job coaching. He was so spun up. He couldn't sit still at all. They will be playing North Fremont on monday at seven. I'll update after that game.

Birthday, basketball, Mesquite

Jake's team is playing in their district tournament. They played Firth on Monday night and lost. Then they played Butte on Wednesday night(my birthday) and won. Their next game is tomorrow Saturday at 1:00 against West Jefferson. If they win they play the loser of Firth and North Fremont on Monday. If they win that they will then play the winner of Firth and North Fremont for district. (Wish I could find the tournament bracket for you to look at!!) Keep your fingers crossed1 GOOD LUCK BULLDOGS!!!

We went to Mesquite. Jerry has a motorhome that he leaves parked there. We took it took the motorcross track and camped out for the weekend. It rained so, as you can see, it was pretty muddy for a desert. Kody is not too sure of Jerry's motorbike. Jerry is a really good rider and usually wins his circuit. Kody and I stayed Saturday night with grandpa Max and Grandma Betty. We had a good time visiting with them.

We ate at a buffet in Mesquite. My mom "granny" and Kody had fun playing with the high chair. Jerry and I ate and pretended we didn't know them. The Crab legs were excellent!!!!

Kody and Maddie eating lunch!!

Kody found my mascara. He's been watching me too much. Looks like he knows it goes on eyelashes.

To celbrate my 26th birthday we went out to eat at Red Robin the night before. CAN't BELIEVE I'M 26. Ally works at REd Robin so we had a great waitress and good food. They even gave me a free sundae and sang :(embarrasing. I get to find me a new camera. I'm really excited. I've had the same one for eight years. It's been a good camera I just really need to update and it has a few small glitches but I'm afraid I'm going to lose all my pics on it.
We're off to California on Thursday and will be gone until the following weekend. I'll have lots of new pics to post on a new camera hopefully.

Time Flies

Wanted to post a Happy Velentine's to everyone including my valentine :) Wow!!! Can't believe how time really does fly. Jake and I have been together since February of 1998...that's eleven years as of today!!! We had alot of good high school memories and attended college for two years before we married in August 1, 2003. I worked as a dental assistant...supporting Jake until he finished his degree in Ag education. We both worked for a few years and welcomed our MIRACLE baby boy , Kody, in October 2007. We're hoping we'll be able to add one more addition to our family but only financial stability and time will tell. Ok I'll spare the sappy stuff and just say I feel very blessed to have my valentine. (What an awesome dad I might add)

As for what we've been doing. I've been scrapbooking as you can see....with my scrap bud Candice. My mom and her boyfriend, Jerry, and I took Kody for his FIRST SQUARE ice cream. I know he's 15 mos and I'm just getting him his first SQUARE. He was funny with it. He wouldn't lick it off the cone. I had to get a spoon and feed the ice cream to him but he did LOVE the cone. Also I had got him oreo but he ate my playdoh ice cream instead so I ended up with oreo. (Playdoh is good, tastes more like banana) Kody is also a LOVER of Ramen Noodles.
Jake spent this weekend in Orofino steelhead fishing. They caught lots of BIG fish. Jake caught the biggest one he's ever caught. They average about fourteen to fifteen pounds and his was ninteen. BUT he didn't even take a picture for the scrapbooker. They are crazy when they go. They got home at four this morning and Jake went to work at the school. NO THANKS for me!!
As for upcoming events Jake's last games are this week, before district. Kody and I are going to Mesquite this weekend with my mom and Jerry. We'll go visit grandma and grandpa Cooper also. Kody and I might be going to Cali again the first of March for vacation. I really want to go but a flood of memories from the last vacation is coming back. Kody didn't have a good time last trip. He got an ear infection. We are still fighting those and he may need surgery for tubes in his ears. If anyone knows much about this what are your suggestions. I'm open to any. A few of the girls are also planning a trip to Utah for the scrapbook expo March 20,21, and 22. I'm probably going to leave Kody for the first time over night. I HATE leaving him but am looking forward to the expo and park city. Well I'm going to be busy the next few weeks so I'll write another novel when I get the chance.
